You can use our hair transplant graft calculator by firstly selecting one of the 3 options that are:

Once you have selected one of the 3 areas, you can then either use the image to select the areas of hair loss or use the select circles in the areas sections. You can then adjust the level of thickness you wish to achieve via the graft thickness slider at the bottom or increase the graft numbers in the individual areas manually. Our tool will then show you the amount of grafts that you will need in order to achieve coverage and density in your selected areas. What is the Hair Transplant Cost per Graft?

The cost of a hair transplant isn’t a strict per graft cost. The reason is that when getting a quote for a hair transplant, the graft numbers are typically rounded such as 1,500 grafts will cost x amount. On the day of surgery, grafts hardly ever come out in rounded numbers. Because of this, the quote would never be accurate as if the quote was for 1,500 grafts and the number on the day was 1,453 for example, you will feel like you have overpaid. Equally if the numbers came out as 1,597, we would feel bad in asking you for extra because of the higher numbers. This process would become a logistical nightmare with every patient.

We charge on a graft bucket basis. As you can see our hair transplant costs page, we have graft buckets of up:

• Up to 500 grafts
• 501-1,000 grafts
• 1,001-1,500 grafts
• 1,501-2,000 grafts
• 2,001-2,500 grafts
• 2,501-3,000 grafts

The above are the range of minimum and maximum grafts we can do in 1 surgery. More grafts can be done however we have found that when going above 3,000 grafts, the risk of over-harvesting and the danger of damaging the donor area increase so for the safety of our patients, we don’t go above this range.
