Beard Transplant Graft Calculator

Just like our hair transplant graft calculator, you can use our beard transplant graft calculator in two ways:

1. Click on the image to select the areas with hair loss, or
2. Use the circular selectors in the “Areas” section.

After you have made your selection, you can then adjust your desired hair density using the graft thickness slider at the bottom, or manually enter the number of grafts for each area. The calculator will automatically estimate the total number of grafts needed to achieve your desired coverage and density.

What is the Beard Transplant Cost per Graft?

Just like with hair transplants, beard transplant pricing isn’t calculated on a strict per-graft basis. That’s because quoted graft numbers are typically rounded. For example, you might be quoted for 2,000 grafts. However, during surgery, the actual number of grafts extracted is rarely a perfect round number. If your final count is 1,933, it may feel like you’ve overpaid. On the other hand, if you end up with 2,097 grafts, we wouldn’t feel comfortable charging you more at the last minute. This is the reason why we don’t charge this way.

Instead, we charge on a graft bucket basis. As you can see on our hair transplant costs page, we have graft buckets of:

• Up to 500 grafts
• 501-1,000 grafts
• 1,001-1,500 grafts
• 1,501-2,000 grafts
• 2,001-2,500 grafts
• 2,501-3,000 grafts

The above are the range of minimum and maximum grafts we can do in 1 surgery. More grafts can be done however we have found that when going above 3,000 grafts, the risk of over-harvesting and the danger of damaging the donor area increase so for the safety of our patients, we don’t go above this range.
