Topical Finasteride and Minoxidil Combination Spray

This spray is designed to provide advanced support for hair thinning by encouraging regrowth, helping reduce further hair loss, and supporting overall scalp health. It works via the 2 active ingredients of finasteride and minoxidil.

Finasteride works via blocking the production of Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the hormone that causes hair loss, giving your existing hair a chance to “recover” and grow.

Minoxidil works as a vasodilator meaning that increases the size of the blood vessels so that more blood can flow to the area. This provides nutrients and oxygen to encourage hair to thicken.

This highly effective spray contains 10% Minoxidil to stimulate hair growth, 0.1% Finasteride to help reduce DHT-related hair thinning, and 2% Azelaic Acid to support a healthier scalp environment and enhance overall effectiveness.

Firstly make sure you have washed your hands so that they are clean and dry. Then, apply the finasteride and minoxidil combo spray directly to clean, dry areas of the scalp once daily and massage it into the areas of hair thinning. Allow it to fully absorb before applying other products.

We recommend that you apply it at night just before you go to sleep as you will need to leave it in for approximately 30-45 minutes for it to be fully absorbed. You can then put a towel on your pillow and sleep whilst the solution is being absorbed and can then wash it off in the morning in the shower.

DHT miniaturises hair on the top of the head until they die off. Finasteride stop this from happening and thus promotes hair growth and thicknening.

Minoxidil is a vasodilator, meaning that it increases the size of the blood vessels in the area of application. This means that more blood flow occurs in the area bringing nutrients and oxygen to “feed” hairs and thus encouraging growth and thickness.

Azelaic acid works as part inhibitor of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which reduces the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone and part anti-inflammatory. This means that it helps along with finasteride in the blocking of the DHT hormone to promote more hair growth.

Results vary between individuals, but consistent use over 3 to 6 months is typically required before noticeable improvements are seen. A lot of our patients see significant results at month 9-12.

Like every medication, finasteride and minoxidil have possible side-effects. Around 1 in 100 men experience these side-effects however they dissipate after a few weeks of stopping use of the medication. Possible side effects of finasteride are:

• low libido
• mood changes
• erectyle or ejaculation dysfunction.
