Finasteride 1mg Tablets

Finasteride 1mg tablets are used to help prevent further hair loss by reducing the hormone called Dihydrotestosterone (DHT for short) which is linked to hair thinning and hair loss.

Take one 1mg tablet once daily, with or without food. For best results, take it at the same time each day.

Results vary, but many people begin to notice reduced hair loss after 3 to 6 months of consistent daily use. Continued use is needed to maintain results.

As with any medication, side effects can occur, though not everyone experiences them. Common side effects are a loss of libido and depression. Less than 2% of men taking 1mg of finasteride experience these side effects and most that have, simply stopped the medication and the side effects tend to dissipate over the next few weeks. If you stop taking Finasteride, any hair maintained by the treatment may gradually be lost over time. Ongoing use is recommended to maintain results.
